Getting tallow right takes more than melting it down. Seven years of refining the purification, texture and jojoba ratio goes into every jar. Dense, unwhipped balm. No air, just product.
I have been using Britt's tallow for years now. Tried others but it doesn't quite hit the mark like hers does. And it doesn't smell like the others which is great.
Turns out, tallow doesn't have to stink
- We love tallow. We just never understood why using it had to mean smelling like it. So we got obsessive about our process until it didn't. No heavy fragrance trying to cover it up. No beefy aftermath, just ridiculously good tallow moisturiser.
- You shouldn't have to lower your standards for tallow. We wanted everything people love about tallow without asking you to compromise on the experience of using it.

Does it smell like beef?
No eau de cow here. With over seven years of tallow crafting experience, careful purification is part of our standard. Bare is fragrance-free; Sable Vanilla has a soft warm scent from real Madagascan vanilla beans.
Will it feel greasy or be hard to spread?
Think custard, not a cold block of butter. Organic jojoba gives our rich tallow balm a silky glide. Start with a small amount on your skin- a little goes a long way. If you feel freshly buttered, you've been too generous.
Which one should i choose for sensitive skin or my little ones?
We'd start with Bare. It's fragrance-free, with purified tallow and organic jojoba- no vanilla or essential oils to startle sensitive or young skin.
Is the texture grainy?
No gritty bits here. We were crafting tallow long before we sold our first jar, and getting the texture right has always been part of the job. Smooth, custardy, with a silky glide.
How long does delivery take?
Australia Post Standard Parcel typically takes 5–8 business days for domestic delivery within Australia. International delivery to the USA takes 10–21 business days depending on customs clearance.
